Story

IAF (Ilario Azzollini and Sons) starts from the foundations, which very few are able to boast of nowadays, of an artistic stonecutters’ tradition that started three generations ago, by the grandfather, Giovanni Azzolini, in the distant 1940.  Important artistic-architectural works done by him can still be seen today in their entirety. Some examples are: the Santuario dell Incoronata (the Sanctuary of the Crowned), the splendid fountain in front of Foggia’s train station, etc …

The tradition has been passed down to his sons who have expanded through time with importations of marble, stones, travertine, ever new and sought-after granite, and also introducing new technologies at the same time thus becoming, already by the 1980s, a productive reality also open to exportation, and introducing the marbles of Puglia (Serpeggiante,Filetto rosso,Biancone, Bronzetto etc.) to the world.

Today, with the coming of the third generation, IAF is born with the aim of giving a new drive to the market, seeking direct channels of supply and using its experience to personally test out the materials and export the marbles of Puglia, by now known for their unquestioned quality both in Italy and abroad. Reliability and professionalism of workmanship on every product give the IAF name a combination of reliability and quality.
